Literally almost identical to the Eno brand ones and SO much cheaper. Slept 2 nights in the woods with this bad boy over my hammock. Didn’t have a single bug on me the whole 4th of July weekend. It was nice to no longer be a snack for the mosquitos. I literally would give this 10 stars if I could. Easy to put up, lightweight, and it was HUGE. It hung under my hammock another 1.5-2 feet, so I let my extra blanket and things lay down there like a storage compartment.

Bought to use with my treklightgear double hammock. Worked great to keep out all the small bugs. Easy to install, ends have cinch downs to close opening. I ran hammock through net prior to hanging hammock. If it’s hot outside, it does block the breeze somewhat due to the ultra fine mesh but that is my only con.
I also ran a second line of cord through the openings on ends on the inside to hang things once inside the net.
Slept like a baby for 3 nights straight.

This is the second hammock product I have bought form pys outdoors and I continue to be please with their combination of quality and affordability. I have a wise owl hammock and the bug net works fine. I was surprised at how hot it gets inside the bug net, it really cuts off any breeze. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, I was so warm in the bug net I decided to leave my top quilt at home, which saved me a lot of weight. I just recommend trying this net with your set up in the back yard before you venture off into the woods with it, I t might change how you do your hang as well. One of the nice things about hammock camping is you can build your setup piece by piece until you get your kit just how you like it. This bug net would be a quality component.

We used a couple of these bug nets on a trip to the Guyana jungles. They were great, not a bite. The material is strong, the vertical zipper is much better than a horizontal one. The length was very good and the ridgeline was more than enough. The stuff sack was large enough for an easy fit and compressed down nicely. I have nothing negative to say at all. This bug net is a good value and I highly recommend it.

Went backpacking in the Northern Cascades where the flies and bees were a bit on the strong side. This guy let me sleep outside every night and kept everything out. It's super spacious inside and was able to put things in the bottom like shorts, socks, the stuff stacks for my clothes and sleeping bag.
I'd recommend setting it up a few times in your back yard before you take it out in the field just so you aren't wasting valuable time in a perhaps super buggy situation, getting eaten by mosquitoes, while you're trying to set it up the first time.

I slept in a hammock with a built-in net for a month at a fruit finca in Nicaragua some years back, and I got used to being cramped in it. Last year I got a double Bear Butt hammock so I could really stretch out. Ah, yes. But I kept forgetting to order a net for it in time for several outings. So I just took my little hammock, and put up with mosquitos biting me through the net that sagged onto my face. I'm a slow learner, but I finally sat down and searched Amazon for a big net.
I picked the right net. The complaints about the large opening where the hammock feeds through was fixed with cords that pull the opening tight! So no worries. I was excited to try it out on a three day outing.
During the first night I got out to go pee, and that was easy enough. But when I got back in I missed sitting down in the middle of my hammock and fell backwards over it and down to the ground, pulling the net down on top of the hammock. Oh, no. I thought I had ripped the net apart. Not so! The hooks that go over the ridge line just yielded to strain by popping off without any of them breaking! And no rips or tears. Woo hoo.
I didn't make that mistake again, and really slept well the next two nights with a good hammock tarp keeping the rain off. I wouldn't have traded my hammock setup for a soggy tent for anything.
Full disclosure, when I first hung the net up, I saw two holes in it at one end. One hole about the size of an eraser on a pencil, the other one about half that size. Stuff happens. But I'm happy with the 99.999% of the net that covers my big hammock with room to spare, stays well off of my face, and keeps the tiny bugs out. Would buy again.

I haven't tried any other bug nets, but this has worked really well for my hammock setup. Setup is easy, and the ends cinch tight around my hammock rope. When setup, I've never had a single mosquito get in, though I can hear them buzzing all around. This year I treated the whole net with permethrin, which may have helped as well. Zipper works well, and the mesh and sewing seems quite durable. I have accidentally sat on the mesh several times while getting into the hammock, and it has survived fine with no tears. You still have to watch the touch points (shoulders/arms) where your skin could push against the hammock and against the bug net. Bugs could still bite through to you here. I always make sure I'm on/in my sleeping bag to provide the depth of material necessary to keep them from getting to me. Definitely could not (would not) sleep in a hammock without it.

I love this product!! I have a double size hammock that it fit over perfectly. I do agree that the sinch where the straps from the hammock go through do not close right enough but a little paracoard wrapped around and tightened in a knot and worked incredibly ..did not feel one thing all night..all day outside of net was super buggy (south Jersey pinelands) but during sleep not one bug... I did replace the clips on my bed with light weight climber clips because the plastic seems like eventually it might snap but my girlfriend left hers alone and worked out great!! It is breathable but I felt it also did help retain some warmth through the night! Very happy with this purchase! Worth every penny.

Used this along side another person who has the Eno bug net and it is almost the same thing in build and same in quality. Would recommend this to anyone over the ENO brand. Used this bug net on a 4 day 4 night trip to the boundary waters.

I use this absolutely love it. Fits perfect, great quality, and durable.
I must have an older version, which is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. I recommended this to a friend for our camping trip and was jealous of the extra stuff they had. The addition to a line holder inside to hang items, the zipper markers so they could find everything in the evening. All diy on mine but still I enjoyed the updates.
Solid product and worth what you pay.

Appears to be reasonable quality (no holes, stitching looks good, zipper works, doesn't feel like cheapy fabric). Easy to set up once you figure out that you need to set you guy line quite a bit up from your straps and pull it taut. The netting is pretty heavy for a bug net, not terrible, but noticeably heavier than some others on the market. This is probably due to the plastic clips that hang on the line and the thick material at the ends. (I agree with another review about the end material being too thick and making it difficult to close around your straps all the way) It's definitely roomy, it actually hangs all the way to the ground for me which makes getting in and out easier for me.
